The 3 days media workshop has been held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs France through the CADRE project.
About 22 journalists from both lusaka and the provinces are in attendance.
And Transparency International Zambia Executive Director Maurice Nyambe said the aim of the workshop was to equip the media with the skills.
Meanwhile, Acting Deputy Auditor General Corporate Services Mr Isaac Kakumbi said he was hopeful that the knowledge acquired during the training would help the Media foster greater transparency in public financial management.
IDI Senior Manager Governance Mr George Phiri called on the media to take training seriously as they would be required to publish articles on PFM.
