1. Key Services and Programmes Offered

The Directorate is responsible for auditing Provincial Administration, Line Ministry Departments represented at Provincial level, accounting units, parastatals and statutory bodies, local authorities and donor funded projects domiciled in the province whose funds are appropriated by Parliament.

• Successfully completed all audit activities planned for the year 2024.
• Successfully participated in the national events such as the 60th anniversary of Zambia’s Independence women’s day, Youth day and labour day.

The Provincial Audit Office is currently headed by a Director, previously headed by an Assistant Director. This followed the revision of the Organisation Structure of the Office of the Auditor General at Provincial Level.
